Terms And Conditions
The terms and conditions of the 2026 Sabri Ülker Award for Future Science Leaders are as follows:
Candidates who are younger than 45 years old and are generally in their initial independent academic rank are eligible for the Sabri Ülker Award for Future Science Leaders.
Scholars from all countries are welcome as candidates for Sabri Ülker Award for Future Science Leaders.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or an equivalent doctoral degree.
The applicant's research must be directly relevant to the fields of nutrition, food science, or their direct impact on public health. This includes, but is not limited to, human nutrition, food technology, epidemiology, and clinical nutrition.
The award recognizes a specific, significant body of research or a discovery, not a lifetime achievement. The work should demonstrate originality, scientific rigor, and a tangible or potential impact.
All application materials must be submitted in English via the official online portal, which will be available at: [science.award@sabriulkerfoundation.]
The award will be given to one person, who is the lead investigator of the Project.
The applicant is responsible for the accuracy of all the information provided in the submission documents.
The deadline for all submissions, including the direct upload of recommendation letters by referees, is January 31, 2026, at 23:59 (GMT+3). Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Employees of the Sabri Ülker Foundation, members of its Science Committee, and Jury members or their relatives are not eligible to apply Sabri Ülker Award for Future Science Leaders.
The prize for the winner of Sabri Ülker Award for Future Science Leaders 2026 is $100,000 USD.
The winner shall be responsible for all related liabilities (e.g. taxes, fees etc.) that he/she may incur in Türkiye or elsewhere.
